Tim Luisi is a first year doctoral student, most recently hailing from Lawrence, Kansas and originally from Rapid City, South Dakota. He is interested in studying gender representations, gender stereotypes, and gendered interactions as well as masculinities and femininities. This far, his research has focused on children's and sport's media, using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. His work has involved social identity theory, hegemonic masculinity theory, and framing theory. Tim is thrilled to be here, loves his cohort, and is looking forward to all the research collaborations that are to come.
